From the 1st September to the 30th April we are open 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 12:00pm Saturday.
From 1st May to the 31st August we are open2:00pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
We offer an olympic sized 50m swimming pool and a children's wading pool. Both are covered by shade cloth during the warmer months. The pool boast well maintained lawns and shady garden areas.The backdrop to the pool is a tributary of the Babinda Creek, the stream flows most of the year and has been revegetated and managed by Cairns City Council. To the east the view is dominated by mountains covered in rainforest
Babinda Pool currently runs learn to swim classes 3 days a week. Wednesday and Friday between 3:30 and 5:00pm we offer classes for school age children aged 5 and above at Salmon or above swimming proficiency.
Saturday starting at 9:00am we run classes for beginner swimmers aged 3 years and above.
Classes currently run in Term 1 and Term 4 to coincide with the school year.
